CHILLAXIN'

Two days post Ironman and I'm still on this amazing natural high. I'm also extremely sore. I'll be posting a race recap in the next day or two. Right now I'm just chillin' and relaxin' with the family and taking it all in.

(Still all smiles at the beginning of the run. Only 26 miles to go.)

Thanks again to everyone for your well wishes, congratulations and the cheer, both on the course and from afar. Just knowing you all were pulling for me helped me get through the day.

I can't wait to write about the race but the past two days have been hectic. I've been spending time with my family. My son from Oregon came over to watch the race and we've been out and about sight-seeing and no time to write down all my thoughts and feelings about the race.

So stay tuned ...

Say Hi To Jonathan for me and tell him to call me sometime when he gets home. I would love to see him. I am very anxious to read all about the big day. Marilyn was calling me keeping me posted on your progress thru out the race. I am very proud of you. Hey, do You remember that extra loud scream as you came around the that one corner? Well that was me and Marilyn cheering for you. I am not kidding either. We were very excited.WOW just does not cover it. You are awesome Randy. Get some well deserved R&R and I'll see you in blogsville. Love ya

Hi Randy and Karen-

It was great to meet you the other night at the banquet! Congrats on your first IM finish and I know you are enjoying some beach and family time now. We are packed up and headed back to NC in a few hours. What an AMAZING experience we had here on the Big Island and we hope to return one day...(and maybe meet Bree :) All our well wishes...Emily and Ty Johnson
